Why is my Booking.com Account saying it is Closed / Not bookable?

I am currently busy setting up the last final details on my booking.com account but for some reason it still mentions at it is Closed / Not bookable and I don't know why.

The Go Online and Become Bookable button isn't available. Could it be that I missed something? Could it be that my property isn't yet verified that it causes this?

When I joined B/C we had to be verified with a visit from a Booking.com agent/ account manager, two minutes after his visit we were live with my first booking that day.

Happens to me same, i have to call their local center for unblocking. I think if your rooms don't pass the 00 00 hours in green from calendar it automatically goes to not bookable. I test the booking.com system for 1 month now, will still test it for another 3 months, if i understand it fully i will go through booking.com, if not....

Hello.

I have the same situation, my account says it is closed/not bookable.

I cannot find any button to go live nor can I find any number to contact any agent or account manager from booking.com.

Last week there was a note on the extranet saying that they needed to gather some info and would contact me to make the listing live but I haven't had any contact from booking.com and the listing is still closed/not bookable

Also at the same time since yesterday seems that I have a one-night booking which could be an example,?.

It is not clear, there is a phone number but it is not live and the email address is not recognisable.

Please help.

Hi,
I was asked to submit some documents and pictures of the apartment. I did two weeks ago and yet my listing is still closed/not possible to book. For two weeks.

WHY?

What can I do to get it open again?

I have a friend in Finland, Lars, who has helped my with many Interest related issues. He has better connection and more experience. He will call you, or try to call you, to get the situation resolved. Whom shold he call. Or can you call him or me.

You can see both numbers in the listing information so they are attached to my apartment.

If you are new to booking.com then they have to verify you are a real business and your product does actually exist.when we joined in the UK we were visited by an account manager once he came the account went live within minutes.

My site is also saying Unbookable. I have had a message via Pulse (only) to say I need to refresh my inventory, and that any policy overrides in place before switch to my channel manager need to be removed. They go on to say that if I need help with this I should contact my B/C Account manager. Any ideas how I find out who they are and how to contact them?

Same problem here too. I have inserted all info, received a verification letter and inserted the code number. However - my account is still showing closed / unbookable. Booking.com is so automated that you cant get to speak to anyone and there is no information available concerning how to remove this frankly silly situation.

I find it incredible that there are "channel managers" out there, all of whom will "chat" to you until you realise THAT THEY WANT YOUR MONEY TOO. Does Booking.com realise how thin the margins are in this business? We are trying to make a profit but thee are lots of organisations (so called channel managers) who come up with childish suggestions such as "you will get 25% more bookings" They also say that all bookings are taken centrally and confirmed automatically. What has happend to being able to speak to someone when you book???? to check the claims made by sellers?? to bid a preice for a room instead of meekly handing over the cash??

C´mon Booking.com what dammed planet are you on? Making loads of money are you? How come when your service is so (frankly) poor?

yesterday, I had received an email said my property was closed due of incorrect information.I called up Booking.com many times and no one can help me. would contact me to make the listing live but I haven't had any contact from booking.com and the listing is still closed/not bookable

My account stated it is CLOSED/NOT BOOKABLE.

They stated they will mail to verify my property. I waited and its nearly a month now but no mail arrive nor anybody from booking.com comes and visit. Now the property account is blocked and cant go live. I cant even send message to them now.

What am i supposed to do ?

we regret say that our home stay is blocked in booking .com

we have paid some invoices recently

but due to disaster in coorg, totally tourism stopped.

hence kindly give us monthly installment & open our home stay, as early as possible

i am sri lankan. speak sinhala. my home stay & sea breeze villa totaly closed. i do not know. other thing is i cannot oparate. previous oparating system was very easy to me. but now it is terrible. i want sinhalese speaking assitance from booking.com. very urgent

If your property was verified and was already operating on Booking (opened), you should write to Booking.

It happened to my property, that suddenly it became Closed. I had no outstanding payments to Booking. I wrote to Booking and they said that it was technical problem and they gave me instructions on how to open it again.

Please, keep in mind, that this forum is for exchanging experience with partners (property owners) and we are not Booking staff. Please, write to them directly or call their office in your country.

I am a system person and I would say booking.com site is the worst. It is not intuitive, not user friendly and hopefully they hire a very good design engineers.

Correct, there is a lot to improve. They are working on something at the moment, but doesn't say what is improving though.

Do you have tips for them? Colourwise, layout, shortcuts etc. Let them know! Who knows they use your ideas.
