Yes a big fault of BC I've found their customers tend to make bookings without commitment and bang the calendar is blocked and then they up and cancel or don't come thru with a commitment. HomeAway and airbnb take the money, so once booked it locked in. Considering leaving BC for that reason. Only new here. And the help desk is hopeless they only have canned answers and it seems its always a different dept that needs to handle the problem. That just goes on for longer. :(
thx, tried that the system wouldn't let me do it so the dates were available for other to book.
thx, they weren't responding to messages. the help desk unblocked it for me. don't like it that i can't do that myself. too much control on behalf of booking.com
