A guest modified their booking to a future date because cancelling would have incurred charges. They have now cancelled that date and as it’s outside the cancellation policy date won’t have to pay me. Anyone had this situation before?
Is there any way to recover the charges of a cancelled booking when in the above situation. I can see now that they always intended to cancel and not be charged by moving their booking date to the future, then cancelling that date within my cancellation policy.
