unfair practices of Booking.com

to Booking.com: for the second month I am requesting the return of money held by Booking.com which is OUR PROPERTY. We have written many times that these measures are necessary for us to be able to settle our liabilities. Meanwhile, Booking.com not only avoids the return of our funds, but also punishes us for not having these funds, closing our facility. This is a scandalous situation that we are forced to make public. We want to be taken seriously, while Booking.com is abusing its position and stealing our money. We demand an immediate return of our funds and the cessation of unfair practices. Booking.com is holding our money several times higher than our invoice obligations. For weeks, Booking.com does not respond to Extranet emails, and when it finally replies, it is either off topic or in a way that ignores our problems, avoiding responsibility.

Pisaliśmy wielokrotnie, że te środki są nam niezbędne do tego, abyśmy mogli regulować zobowiązania. Tymczasem Booking.com nie tylko unika notorycznie zwrotu naszych środków ale jeszcze dodatkowo karze nas za to, że tych środków nie mamy, zamykając nasz obiekt. To sytuacja skandaliczna, którą jesteśmy zmuszeni upublicznić. Domagamy się poważnego traktowania, tymczasem Booking.com nadużywa swojej pozycji i okrada nas z naszych pieniędzy. Żądamy natychmiastowego zwrotu naszych środków i zaniechania nieuczciwych praktyk. Booking.com przetrzymuje nasze pieniądze w kwocie kilkakrotnie wyższej od naszych zobowiązań z tytułu faktur. Tygodniami Booking.com nie odpowiada na pocztę Extranet, a gdy wreszcie coś odpisze to albo nie na temat albo w sposób lekceważący nasze problemy, unikając odpowiedzialności.

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport 

 

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

I am publishing here because none of the forms of contact is effective. For the second month, I am requesting a refund of the money that is our property. I am asking the community to put pressure on Booking.com to finally give us back our money that it is holding and apparently has no intention of returning it. We can only notify the relevant institutions about a crime committed by Booking.com, but probably nobody needs it

and i would agree with you.

 

but in reality what it really turns out to be on a per case basis , not knowing the full story and making assumptions.

 

I know because i've already seen it time and time again.

 

the only staff who might see these posts is the Community Staff, and as you likely have see n they are scarce at the best of times, and do geniunely try to help you when they can , but alot of the time account issues are not their remit.

 

they can of course make notes of what they see here and bring the points up at weekly meetings, and if it s a feature needed or redone thats what usually comes from those meetings.

but another team has to design and implement those changes.

 

unfortunately when it comes to finance matters it is a waiting game once the initial case is opened. i.e. message to partner support triggers a case and trackable.

 

i will say that finance teams are not one team and not same hours or days as Partner Support are , they have a mountain of case to get through, and covid didnt help with the back log it made it worse.

I would say that, without knowing the details, I'm not sure what other partners can do to help your case, but it's certainly useful to hear about other's experiences.

If you feel that they are in breach of contract and are holding your money without cause, and you have been through the complaint process with no remedy, then the only other course of action it seems would be to initiate legal proceedings against them.
