The descriptions on your Booking.com property page are automatically generated based on the information you’ve provided in the extranet. You can make changes to your facilities, room details and location, and correct inaccurate information in your property description.

Updating your facilities

  1. Log in to the extranet
  2. Click on the Property tab and then click Facilities & Services
  3. Update the facilities and services available at your property
  4. When you’re happy with your changes, click Save at the bottom of the page

Updating your room amenities

  1. Log in to the extranet
  2. Click on the Property tab and then click on Room Amenities
  3. Update the in-room amenities available at your property
  4. When you’re happy with your changes, click Save at the bottom of the page

Updating your location

If the distances from your property to local landmarks don’t look accurate, you might need to update your property’s location on the map. You can do this by messaging us through your extranet inbox:

  1. Log in to the extranet
  2. Click on Inbox and then click on Booking.com messages
  3. Click on See contact options
  4. Choose Property details as the topic and Adjust your location on the map as the subtopic
  5. Click on Update map location
  6. In the map that opens, click and drag the red pin to where you want your property to show up on the map
  7. Click on Save new location and then click on Done

Correcting information in your description

If any other information in your property or room descriptions aren’t correct, let us know by following these steps:

  1. Log in to the extranet
  2. Click on the Property tab and then click on View your descriptions
  3. For changes to your property description, click on Found a typo? Request a fix and describe the fix you need in the text field that appears below
  4. For changes to your room description(s), click on the Request a correction link below the room you’d like to update, then describe the fix you need in the text field that appears below
  5. When you’re ready, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Request a fix

Your request will go to our Content team, who will then make the changes to your property description. To make sure your property descriptions are easy for customers to find and understand, all changes will follow these company guidelines and best practices:

  • We use research on customer behaviour on our website to determine the length, style and structure of our descriptions
  • We don’t copy and paste texts as this affects search engine optimisation (SEO) and may make your property harder to find online
  • We keep texts short and simple and include details that customers are most interested in
