How can I change the name of my property?

If you want to change your property name, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the extranet, in the ‘Property tab’.

  2. Navigate to the ‘General Info’ page.

  3. Click on ‘Change the property name’.

  4. Select ‘No, the property ownership will stay the same’.

  5. Type in a new property name and click on ‘Next’ to review the change.

  6. Select ‘Change property name’ to finalise the change.

If you’re making changes to your property name, keep the following points in mind:

  • Use specific, unique names that won't confuse the guest.

  • Think about people doing a search for the name on Google. What would you type to find this property?

  • Users tend to type in as little as possible to find the results they want to find.

  • Avoid using punctuation marks like quotation marks, (“”), asterisks (*), and "at" signs (@). Ampersands (&), however, offer a way to shorten the name.

  • Don’t capitalize whole words (except acronyms, for example, Apartment VL Amsterdam instead of Apartment VL AMSTERDAM).

Change of ownership
