Dormitories are a great way to cater to different types of travellers. How to set up individual beds in a dormitory room

  1. Log in to the extranet
  2. Click on Property and then select Room details
  3. Click on Create a new room
  4. Under Room type, select Bed in dorm room
  5. Under Bed name, select the type of dormitory room this bed is in
  6. Under Number of beds (of this type), add the number of this type of bed that can be found in this dormitory room (check that this number matches the number of available beds to avoid overbooking)
  7. Under Bed options and occupancy, indicate what kind of bed it is and the maximum number of adults and children that can sleep in it (we consider a standard bunk bed to be suitable for sleeping one guest – if you have wider bunk beds that sleep two guests, select double bed from the drop-down menu)
  8. Specify how many bathrooms the room has, and where each one is located
  9. Click Continue to finalise

You’ve now created individually bookable beds in a dormitory. These beds are now a ‘room type’ that you can set prices and other conditions for. Keep in mind that it can take up to 48 hours for these beds to appear on our platform.
