How can I set minimum length of stay restrictions in Pulse?

The minimum length of stay is the minimum number of nights that guests can book a stay for. You can easily adjust this restriction with a few taps on Pulse.

Note: The new calendar will be available on the Pulse app in September 2020. Some partners have already been migrated, and the rest will be soon. Below you will find instructions for updating your availability for both the old and new versions.

To set minimum length of stay restrictions in Pulse, just open the app on your iOS or Android device and follow the steps below.

For a single date:

  1. Tap the ‘Availability’ tab at the bottom of your screen.
  2. Select the date you’d like to update.
  3. Scroll down and tap on the room category you want to update.
  4. Adjust the minimum number of nights under ‘Minimum Length of Stay’.
  5. Tap 'Save' (or for Android devices: the tick icon in the top-right corner).
  6. Your changes save automatically when the green tick icon appears.

For multiple dates:

  1. Go to the ‘Availability’ tab and tap on 'Edit multiple dates' under the calendar.
  2. Select the date range you want to update and tap ‘Rates and restrictions’.
  3. Select the property you want to modify the restrictions for (in the case you have multiple properties).
  4. Select the room category and scroll down to see the minimum length of stay restrictions.
  5. Tap on the grey field. Adjust the nights accordingly.
  6. When you’re done, tap on the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the screen (or for Android devices: tap on the tick-shape button at the top of the screen). A green tick will show to confirm that the process is complete.

Note: Minimum length of stay is currently the only restriction that can be set via the Pulse app.


New calendar

You can easily update your minimum length of stay restrictions on Pulse for either one date or multiple dates.

For a single date:

  1. Open the Pulse app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Go to the availability tab.
  3. If you have one room type, go straight to step 6.

    If you have multiple room types, go to step 5.

    If you have multiple properties, go to the next step.

  4. Tap on the property you’d like to manage.
  5. If you’re viewing the dates in a calendar, first choose the room type you’d like to manage by tapping on the calendar of it.

    If you’re viewing the dates in a list, organised in order of date, scroll down to the date you wish to edit and then tap on the room type you’d like to update.

  6. Tap on the date you’d like to update.
  7. Scroll down to  see your minimum length of stay.
  8. Tap on the input field in the length of the stay section and choose the minimum number of nights you’d like guests to stay. 
  9. When you’re done:

    if you’re on iOS, tap on the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the screen to save changes. If you don’t want to apply the changes, press ‘Reset’;

    if you’re on Android, tap on the check mark in the top right corner of the screen to save changes. If you don’t want to apply the changes, tap on the arrow in the top left corner of the screen and then tap on ‘Discard’.


For multiple dates:

  1. Open the Pulse app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Go to the availability tab.
  3. If you have one room type, go straight to step 6.

    If you have multiple room types, go straight to step 5.

    If you have multiple properties, go to the next step.

  4. Tap on the property you’d like to manage.
  5. If you’re viewing the dates in a calendar, first choose the room type you’d like to manage by tapping on the calendar of it.

    If you’re viewing the dates in a list, organised in order of date, scroll down to the date you wish to edit and then tap on the room type you’d like to update.

  6. Tap on ‘Edit multiple dates’.
  7. Select the date range you want to make changes to.
  8. Tap on ‘Rates and restrictions’.
  9. Tap on the input field in the length of the stay section and choose the minimum number of nights you’d like guests to stay.  
  10. When you’re done:

    if you’re on iOS, tap on the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the screen or if you don’t want to apply the changes, press ‘Reset’;

    if you’re on Android, tap on the check mark in the top right corner of the screen to save changes. If you don’t want to apply the changes, tap on the arrow in the top left corner of the screen and then tap on ‘Discard’ or tap on the round ‘Reset’ arrow in the top right corner (next to the check mark).
