Hi Michael, I'm having the same issue. I wish to take full payment upon booking without having to offer a non-refundable discounted rate.
BDC are being very unhelpful with offering a solution and as you say their virtual card payment cannot be used on its own, we must offer a pay on arrival solution too.
What I think I will do is ensure there is a clear statement written at the top of the 'Fine Print' section which is shown to the guest whilst browsing your property and then at the booking stage.

Thank you all. I used to have the hybrid payments enabled for all of our properties however BDC continuously under cut our prices which was driving more bookings through BDC and away from our direct website so these payments have now been disabled.

Or do you offer the flexible policy too?
Also do you discount your rate in order to apply the Non-refundable policy please?
