Now the water shortage appears to be a under control , the power black outs hit of up to 8 hours a day for some areas. I have not had any bookings from booking com at all for the last 12 months and it has got northing to do with prices
In fact if things don't improve I may well have to go out of business in this field.
If public owned utilities cannot provide the power and water needed and there is no alternative supplier we are in a canoe without a paddle approaching a waterfall.

My holiday house has everything. AC, pool, flat screen TV etc. etc , but I still get complaints such as , why no free drunks,? no pre-heating for the pool, no full time servants, and so on even though our rates are rock bottom. A lot of guests demand 5 star treatment with 1 star accommodation. It is the nature of things.
I didn't have any dealings with the travel agent, the booking was made with booking.com by the travel agent. Booking. Com told me that the travel agent is a good customer and they just comply with their wishes. Anyway I have learnt yet another lesson but feel booking.com will be very reluctant to cancel a booking done by a travel agent who refuses to give customer details which makes it very difficult for me
