Hi laura! we have recently had guests book thru one of your partner sites. this site send a fake lock box code. I love the fact that we are on more sites- but how can I be sure our bookers get the real box codes? Janella, property manager, diamond hideaway
I don't take credit cards until they show up- there are reasons for this. I guess it will just be a thorn. Thanks for the suggestions you guys!!!!
I haven't had this happen to me yet... our cabin has a fully stocked kitchen and there's a grocery store nearby. I do offer some hotel amenities like turn down service. My guests are told they have to ask booking.com for refunds. I'll take the bad review over a spoiled guest as opposed to explaining to my owner why the money's gone.
We have a natural attraction nearby, as well as other natural areas nearby. We try to tailor each trip for each group- including medical issues and allergies. Our peak season is March's spring breaks (there are three in the region) so offering activities for kids and teens in a tiny town is critical for repeat bookings.
