I've been doing some digging around on the Partner Help site and found this page:
which links to how-to guides for setting availability for the two different versions of the extranet. I've got the first extranet version, which doesn't allow me to set a changeover day. BUT, on page 7 of the guide for the second extranet, there's a screenshot showing a "No arrivals" tab which can be used to specify changeover days (i.e. click this tab for every day of the week except Saturdays).
I've contacted the UK help centre to see whether I can be migrated over to the second version of the extranet. No reply.
I think the little guys like us (i.e. holiday home owners) get the first version of the extranet (with reduced functionality), and the big boys get the second version with more functionality. I can understand that booking.com is aimed more at the hotel room market than the holiday home market, but it's a shame that we can't get access to basic functionality to run our businesses.
As an owner I've used other booking sites to advertise for years and I only signed-up with booking.com last week to see if I could fill a few slots. This booking system, frankly, isn't worth the hassle so I think I'll go back to what I know...
Me too. I can set up a minimum stay of 7 nights, but there's no way to specify a check-in day. This needs to be addressed. Help please!
