We are using BookingAutomation.com to sync our calendar between Airbnb and booking.com. We are very happy with them. The big bonus is to automatically process payments for booking.com reservations as well and handle declined payments
Which country are located in? Booking.com has different way of handling payment for hosts. But if you are in a country where stripe operates, you can use stripe to charge the credit card
Yes booking.com has different procedure in different countries. Yes you will need channel manager to manage your reservation, the software we use integrates with stripe payment processor will I believe is also available in Germany. That way you don't need a physical terminal, just online terminal. This applies for charging booking.com virtual credit card or guests' credit card
Are you using any channel manager. If not, you can this info on the admin.booking.com
If you don't see it maybe you are not collecting it and need to change your setting to require cc at the time of booking
I receive about 300 bookings a month with multiple property. This was a big problem for me, until I implemented a solution where I collect the payment upfront at the time of booking and ask them to send me their photo ID and copy of the card used just showing 4 digits. I hold this just to make sure if they dispute, I have proof. (Chargeautomation.com can do the first piece)
