I have been trying different numbers for Booking.com and all are failing! I've started to contact my guests to tell them to come to me direct and to not pay Booking.com any money.
I've not had any replies and I've just tried the helpline number 0161 817 3540 and the call keeps failing. I'm starting to get very worried that Booking.com have folded. I've just taken guests in yesterday as a last minute booking will be furious if I don't get paid for it - or all the other guests I have in May.
Something just doesn't feel right.
The finance department is seemingly in Singapore and they are on holiday today so don't waste your time trying to contact anyone about this problem. I am furious.
I've been cut off from Booking.com after waiting for an hour. This also happened on Friday. I've spoken to Nationwide and they said they do maintenance on a weekend so it wouldn't have been on the 8th May.
I'm wondering if it could've been returned then? I will call the Nationwide once I get off the phone to booking.com to ask when they were doing maintenance on the 8th. I've been on the phone for an hour now listening to that message. I don't want to hang up!!!
This is the number I was calling on Friday without any luck. I'm currently trying it again. fingers crossed this time. It is so frustrating. I did have a message from my bank, Nationwide about some updates they were doing and they said if any money was sent they would be contacting the sender and telling them to send payment later. This was over the weekend. I wonder if it could've happened on the 8th? Is anyone else with Nationwide? I normally don't take notice of the updating Nationwide does - be it seems to be doing a lot at the moment. Still doesn't help the situation. I just want to know when I will get the money.
Hopefully we will get somewhere today.
I have not been paid either and the excuse I was given was that some banks have returned money. I have been trying to speak to someone for nearly 2 hours - after 1 hour I got cut off. I'm not even sure if anyone is there. I am seriously thinking of taking my property off Booking.com - I haven't got time to waste like this.
I agree. They said that banks have returned payments but I have spoken to my bank and they have not had anything from Booking.com. I have been trying to speak to someone for nearly 2 hours now. After 1 hour I was cut off. Is there actually anyone there taking calls? It really isn't good enough.
