Inspection before check out didn't work for me, because you cannot start stripping the beds in front of the customers for example, so some damages came out later on during cleaning when the cash is given back and people are gone.
I tried to charge the damage deposit through PayPal and they took hefty commission on it, there is also risk of the customer to declare "goods are not received". Cash is not an option for me as well as CC (there are apps now to use even on your smart phone, but as I am not there I couldn't di that either). The only option that seems to work is bank transfer, but then it takes away lots of time! If anyone found the way around it (ne reception, self check in and check out), please suggest. I wish they would do something like Airbnb does, so simple!
I go to property layout - Bed options and it doesn't give me what is shown on your screen shot - standard or alternative arrangement. Maybe i am in a wrong place?
I am renting a house where in 2 bedroom 2 singles could be placed together as a double bed. As i am renting the whole property and not rooms I interact with each guest asking bed preferences before arrival. Takes time, so if there is a way to get this information automatically upon booking would be great, saving lots of time.
