I have had a cancellation for a 2 night stay and was told that it is under the risk free policy. Bdc have found a replacement for one of the nights but not the other. Now on my extranet account it says they don’t need to pay me for the other cancelled night.
l phoned up and asked if I would still get the money for the cancelled night but the person had no idea. I feel it is a very flawed policy and has far too many loopholes that Bdc can get out of.
I am going to opt out unless I do get the money for the cancelled night. I also feel that the whole risk free thing negates the idea of giving a cheaper, non-cancellable rate to guests. What is the point of offering a cheaper rate if they can cancel either anyway?
