Has/is anyone else having the horrific experience I am having with Bookings.com and Agoda??
I find out that in the small print of the Bookings.com contract i have signed up to other affiliates including Agoda.
We find out (via guests cancelling) that Agoda (whom i have never had any contact with/from) have our address and location wrong. We are based in Wilshire and Agoda has us in a completely other city - Bath. We are getting guests booking via Agoda, thinking they are staying in Bath and once they realise the error, they are cancelling very last minute so we are massively down on revenue.
I call Bookings.com to find out how I am connected with Agoda, explain the issue and they tell me to speak to Agoda. I call Agoda and without an account ref or property ID, they cannot speak/help me. I explain to both parties that i have no account details for Agoda since I disnt even know we were listed on their property and they just keep ping ponging me between the two of them. Neither party can help apparently.
Agoda keep referring me to my marketing manager but wont tell me who that is and so we are left with an incorrect property address on Agoda and losing revenue.
Has anyone else experienced this shocker of a situation before? If so, how did you get it resolved?
