Fraudulent Reservations

We have been receiving a wave of phony and fraudulent reservations. Unfortunately, we can't do much to vet them until closer to their arrival dates and by then they've eaten up valuable reservation space. Why doesn't Booking do anything to qualify the guests using their platform. Additionally, Booking has been useless to report chargeback disputes by these flunkies who are scaming on the platform, and they want a commission on their fraud stays. DO SOMETHING, I think I'm done hosting on here until and unless they do something about it.

The fix


Update New Reservation template 

Add prepay methods, process, time limit. 

So when they fail to prepay in time you can use the Request Cancellation feature and select options.
