How to offer a discount to a guest who ended stay early

Hi I have a guest who left early (it was a one night stay) because of Storm Eunice, he was really nice and I'm hoping he will want to return in the future.  I would prefer to give him a 50% discount but I can't see how to do this.  Booking.com take all payments - we don't process any.

Can you advise how I contact someone to help me do this?

  1. Theres no such thing nor mechanism with Extranet for this, never has been.
  2. There is also no entitlement to a refund in this scenario.
  3. Normally you would just offer them to direct book next time and discount or free night etc..

So if a guest was unhappy, would you not be able to partially refund?
