that is correct you wont get a penny if you did not setup prepayment , regardless of what you set your cancel policy to.


so instead to prevent this from happening:


  • setup a 3rd party prepayment method(s)
    • dont use BdC pay methods, can be delays for months
  • add them to New Reservation template
    • add a time limit to prepay
    • this is crucial and helps remove fake bookings
    • add if no valid phone number and address provided reservation wil be cancelled also.
  • update policies page to make phone and address mandatory.
  • add a caveat on template - failure to respond to messages , phone calls will result in void , cancellation of reservations.
  • take no prisoners, be creative how you word things, so as to not be seen as aggressive.
