My first booking payment

Good morning,

I accepted my first booking on 30th December, and myself and guest aren’t sure if BDC has/will take the payment or if I was to do so? It states credit card payment but the guest hadn’t been deducted anything from her account. Was it case since BDC didn’t have my bank/payment details at the time it defaulted to payment on arrival?

As we have different type of payments, it is really important for you to know what your payment options and policies are. If you manage the payments yourself and it states "credit card payment", this means that it is your responsibility to collect the money from the guests and you need to have a credit card machine available for that. You can arrange the credit card machine with your service bank. If you are not able to charge the credit card, you can also collect the money from the guests upon their arrival. We also have payments facilitated by Booking.com. You can check whether you have them activated in your extranet account, under the Finance tab -> Online Payments. Please read this FAQ article for more information.
