About resevations

I had a reservation from a guest, 2 hours after the agreed time of arrival I contacted him and he replied that he wanted to cancel the reservation. I instructed him to contact the booking. I soon received an email from the booking asking if I would give up charging, I followed the link and asked for a charge, I don’t have any confirmation from the booking that they accepted my request. also in the reservations it further states that the guest has booked and that he has stayed in my accommodation. I need same instructions and information about these cases
