how to set a minimum stay of 3 nights permanently

I've recently signed up to the site to rent out our holiday home and I have to say it is driving me mad! I've been in tears on more than one occasion. On Airbnb it was really easy to set a minimum stay of 3 nights, but I can't find a way of doing it here other than a few days at a time, and I really have better things to do. I was promised that someone would ring me to talk it through but of course they haven't. Before I tear my hair out does anyone have any guidance? Thanks so much.

either set it in each Rate Plan or in calendar list view per room type, expand view.

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport 


  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

It is set up under the Calendar then click the little box restriction and you will be able to set your minimum night stay and copy across your dates by bulk editing. Hope that helps

Hi Hilary,

How did you go with the advise from the other folks on this chat? Did you happen to set up a minimum length of stay for your holiday home? If you don't use a channel manager and only use the Booking.com calendar you can go to... 

1. Calendar and Pricing > Calendar

2. Select the Start Date and the End Date

3. Under 'Rates' select "RESTRICTIONS" 

4. Enter the minimum length of stay you like, and SAVE.

If you require to speak to someone on the phone ...

The best phone number to call will be located in your Booking.com extranet in the Inbox Tab > Booking.com Messages. From here there are different extranet layouts. Depending on your extranet lay out you will either select Contact Us or See Contact Options, Select any topic, Other, and See all contact options.

I've also been having trouble. My settings on the STANDARD RATE PLAN were set to be 2 nights minimum, but the guest managed to book a 1-night stay.


To make the setting permanent, I did the following?




You can click on the drop menu arrow, and then edit your settings.


Make sure you check that the correct ROOM / LISTING name is included on the plan.


I say this as if I know but am also new to bookings.com from Airbnb, and I'm confused about more than this part.... also have not had any luck with customer service.

Same, I had the issue occur where I got 2 guest signing up for a 1 day when I set it to two days min. This is not user friendly and I wish it was as easy as Airbnb has it.
