Solved - 'There seems to be something wrong with the pin on the map.

Edit: seems to be working now. Disregard this post please.

Hi,

I have created a listing filled out the correct address (recognized by Google) and placed the pin on the map right on top of the property. While trying to publish the listing, the above-mentioned error message keeps appearing, no matter how often I adjust the position of the pin on the map. This seems to be an error and I do not know how to solve it.

Does anyone know how to avoid this or knows of any workaround? Thanks!

Hello Menno and welcome to the Partner Community.

 

When I had similar problems I send my Google coordinates directly toBDC through my Extranet inbox and they fixed it…

 

Maybe you should do the same…just an idea!!!

How did you get it to work? I’ve been trying for weeks, every time it’s the same issue! I tried calling but they don’t know what to do either.

Now, in your Extranet you can change your coordinates yourself…

Under your Property tab in General info find property location…there you can change your coordinates…

 

Maybe this is more clear for you…

M Adamopoulou  I have the same issue and the problem is that until you finalise your registration (which is impossible to me due to this issue), you don't have all the features like "Inbox" in the extranet, thus you can't change the location by yourself, nor you can contact somebody from Booking for help to enter coordinates. It is so frustrating.

Just managed to solve the issue. In order to complete the registration, use other address of your own. That worked to me, and then I will shift this address to the real one using GPS

I’m having the same issues right now.. no matter what I do it’s not pinning.why can’t it pin automatically like other sites??

Hi!

Maybe if you send booking.com your coordinations they can move the pin to the right spot.

I can understand your frustration. 

Customer service is not as it used to be. Very poor service!
