wrong accommodation short description from booking.com - take care and better check

since  this year we do recognize a lot of wrong room descriptions (features )which are not the same we have given / marked in the extranet - if you want a correction it needs to be asked for at booking.com.

The wrong short descriptions is being made by booking. com and it is said that this short description is being based on our given input in the extranet - so you as host better double check this short description if it is correct - if you find a mistake you have to ask booking for correction !!!!!

It happened to me that in the dutch version of booking the short description saying that the room has a TV with fat screen - a  guest complaint about missing the tv - we told them that non of our rooms have tv and I checked my given features in the extranet - all is correct - non of the rooms are market with tv - then I went to the booking.nl page to read the short description and I found that booking says in the dutch version that the room has a flat screen TV ????

Seems that the booking.com marko is doing a very bad job !!!! Also they say that all rooms have a bathrobe - why I think it should be bathroom !!!! in the explanation of  booking they say that they make an extract of our given room features and compile a short version on what is essential for customers to look at - seems fine but the features are wrong - what kind of service this should be - misleading customers ? So I wonder what is in the Chinese version we as host cannot check all languages and versions - I think booking has to wave the marko as we as hosts can be in trouble afterwards -and we cannot check all booking pages/languages - please share with me if you make same experience and we can do that booking is strictly following our given input and nit making some wrong advertising ::::::: also very host unfriendly page - you cannot amend the wrong description you have to ask booking edition to do that for you .... What is that ????

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
