My son has told me to start cancelling bookings, explain to them the reason why and then if they still want to come to pay me cash on arrival as I have no card facility.I will link my guests to this forum so they can see I am not lying and others have been affected also.
I have phoned and sent emails to booking.com but I do not receive any reply.
They owe me £1455. I am incurring bank charges daily and my credit card now maxed out. I have now had to ask friends to help me with food.
I also support orphanages in Africa and India. Our children now go hungry and can only trust God to provide.
I believe booking.com are so big they really don't care about the challenges they cause by late payments.
They will have to answer to the Lord! For His angels look upon these little ones.

Oh YES PLEASE!!! The abuse I have had to suffer and even once had to call the Police! Even then Bookin.com took the side of the guests and both times it was really bad I lost money! It was VERY unfair. Some guests take advantage of me as I am a lone female in my 60s and they just bully me. However some are wonderful and have even bought me flowers and wine!
I have also had bad reviews from people that never stayed. I have complained in person to BC but nothing is done. All they said was that we have the chance to respond. They never take down reviews even though its clear guests have lied. I have seen my score drop from 9.7 to 7.7 over the last 3 months. Some guests have complained in order to get a refund. I suggested that we should be able to review guests like airbnb. With them I have never had a bad review for Tree Tops. They also stay longer rather than just 1 night as seems to be the case with many BC guests I've had. Only challenge with airbnb is you have to price very low but the commission is only 5%. So sorryvto hear that. They paid me on time. My latest grudge is that they keep asking me to reimburse guests who cancel even though my policy states otherwise. So what is the point of having a policy re cancellations? Guests can then give you a crapy review if you don't refund. In the meantime your room is as booked so you can't get anyone else in and often its too late to do so.
Im also with airbnb but I don't get many bookings with them. I don't know why. Prices too high perhaps. They always suggest such low prices eg 24 p.n. when I. Charge 45!
By end of the week I mean Friday but what booking.com mean I don't know. I guess you can't say what company you have gone with?
Hi Spicy I was paid Wednesday lunchtime. They did say by the end of the week everyone should be paid. This is really worrying. Im not happy myself with booking.com. Not just for late payment but your rating goes down even when guests blatantly lie about your bnb and the service you provide. Fed up with it all.
Got paid lunchtime. Not good as service to my guests suffered as had absolutely no monies left to buy food etc. Hope it doesn't happen again.
