If we can't find a replacement guest within 24 hours, we'll officially cancel the reservation and release the room.

How the ‘Ask for a replacement guest’ feature works

 

  • We'll hold your canceled room and give it an extra push in marketing emails and search results for up to 24 hours.
  • If a new guest books, weʼll cancel the original reservation and make a new one.
  • If the guest who canceled books again, weʼll just modify the original reservation.
  • If we don’t find a new guest, we’ll officially cancel the reservation and release the room.
  • Weʼll use your current prices, but youʼre free to change prices or stop the search for a replacement guest at any time.
  • You can easily track the process on the Extranet.
