Hi Barry

Thanks for your reply. Therefor i think it best to withdraw my application to advertise my property on Bookings.com and rely on all the other major sites to rent our apartment. It really is an extreme requirement to verify your property location. So we have two choices. 1. receive the code by post ( not possible for various reasons )  2 Jump on a plane and travel thousands of miles simply to be at the property to receive a video call ( most definitely not going to happen )  why oh why on earth a recent utility bill will not suffice is completely beyond me.

Regards Phil.

Yes Barry we appreciate what you are saying, however this needs to be addressed. The reason i and many others are posting on here with this very same problem is simple. I cannot for a minute imagine that everybody advertising on BDC have received this verification code. We are posting on here in the hope that someone on the ground so to speak ( not someone stuck on a phone behind a desk ) has experienced this problem and found an alternative way to verify their property location. I thought that was the reason for this partner forum. We don't really need to be advised to contact BDC through other channels we are looking for feedback from someone who has experienced this  problem and found a way around it ( hopefully ).

Cheers Phil.

This problem is cropping up time and time again. Surely Bookings.com are more than capable of coming up with alternative means to enable this. An up to date utility bill with owner details and obviously proof of address. Or would this method not involve enough complcations ?

Hi Louis

I and it appears many more people are experiencing this very same problem. Bookings.com need to sort this out. As you say advertising with Airbnb. ,  Trip Advisor. Home & Away no problem at all. Advert goes live with the simple click of a button.

Regards Phil.

No you will not be able to have your property live without the ' Property Verification Code.

Hi Davit

You won't receive the property verification code be e-mail as it is physically posted to the address of the property you wish to advertise. I too am experiencing problems with this final stage of advertising our property live. Just hoping that there is an alternative method.

Cheers Phil.

Hi Jerzy i agree it is not useful at all. There is another option that may be available which is by means of receiving a video call. I have asked what exactly this involves but as yet have had no replies. However if you have to be at the address when recieving this call well once again it will not be possible. Personally i doubt very much if every single person advertising on Bookings.com have received this so called 'verification letter'  regards Phil.

Hi Jerzy.

i have the same problem. My apartment is in Cyprus and will remain empty for the foreseeable future so i will have no chance of receiving the confirmation letter. I have even e-mailed a recent utility bill which contains my full name & property address for the property i wish to advertise, but apparently this is not enough. ?
