Dickinson Guest House, Guadalajara Expo
The Dickinson Guest House, Guadalajara Expo is a business-practical, hotel-alternative appreciated by many for its affordability in what can be a pricey area of the city. We are within walking distance of Glorieta Chapalita, in the Guadalajara/ Zapopan metropolitan area. This location places our property in Guadalajara by zip code, yet close to Zapopan, making it a desirable area for restaurants and nightlife. It also places us close to the best shopping in the city.
The property is available for individual room rentals or the full 4-guest room home. We have been a "second home" to many travelers since 2006.
Guest rooms range from the standard single or double room, King room, King Suite with furnished and private balcony, and a quad suite with a patio and garden. The property is set up with the fastest fiber optics for all guests to enjoy on laptops, cell phones and 4K TVs in individual guest rooms for your privacy while enjoying colleagues in several common areas of the house, including a fully equipped kitchen for beverage storage or meal preparation if the restaurants are not desired.
We use a keyless entry system for entering and leaving at any time with no worries of lost keys or safe entry 24/7. This works well for colleagues arriving at different times, to have entrance at your early or late arrival times and a less time-consuming and contactless front desk check-in during major events at the Exposition Center, also a short walk or ride to by our Uber account. This is extremely cost effective and can be billed before departure. No money exchanges hands with drivers who use correct fares over some taxi services. As many of our guests are traveling long distances, breakfast can be ordered online or after arrival. The Expo Center usually has breakfast items for their visitors. But if you wish room service or a sit down hot meal, it can easily be ordered. That is why we have the two pricing tiers for breakfast and the other for no breakfast, for a reduced rate. Keurig beverage machines are in all guestrooms for hot beverages at any time.
Two small parks are within a half block in either directions for locals that exercise or jog in the morning or visit in the afternoon. This are is well lit and very safe for walks at any time of the day, depending on your free time.
Although our location is in the newest high-end hotel zone of Guadalara and Zapopan, we offer a more private gated boutique experience, still close to everything you need to be close to.
