"Partner" translates to "cash cow"
I think people from the booking.com organisation just read these posts for a laugh. If you are lucky you will get a response from somebody telling you that your post won't be actioned but to contact Support. I confess that I personally haven't had any problems (yet) although I see many posts from people who have. I thought this "community" was similar to the AirBnB one where there are some quite lively and useful discussions, but I seldom see any responses in this - perhaps I am looking in the wrong place.
Depends what method you have opted for for payments Linda. If you let Booking.com handle payments for guests booking, they don't send your payout to the bank until the THURSDAY after the checkout date, unlike AirBnB who send payment the day after the guest checks in. So they sit on both your and the guests money without any good reason really.

If booking.com ever listen to any of the concerns of their grandly styled "partners" otherwise known as "cash cows" I will believe that pigs can fly.
Not a lot because booking.com will find some way of making the double booking your fault, which it plainly isn't
Hi Aamir. You might find this helpful: https://partner.booking.com/en-gb/help/policies-payments/payment-produc…
A lot of people seem to have problems with booking.com not paying, but I have to say that I am not one of them. My payments have been sent as per the above. However, my only complaint is that they actually wait until after a client has ledt before they pay and it can take anything like two weeks for the money tgo get to my bank. They should have a system like AirBnB, who pay on the day after a client has arrived, however long they are staying. booking.com is getting fat on the interest on money which is rightfully ours as soon as the client checks in,
I haven't had a problem with payments, so far at least. My only complaint is that they wait until ten days after arrival before they do anything - AirBnB send payment the day after the guest arrival.
I think you will find that booking.com doesn't pay out until TEN days after the guest checks in. In other words they get the interest from the guest's money (and your payout) while you are doing the work.
