Hey, I'm Alex! My team creates the content you see on the Hub. I try spending time in the Community whenever I can. Tag me if you want to get in touch!
It's odd because the notification you're seeing is from Yahoo, which means you clicked on the Yahoo calendar invitation instead of Outlook when you received your registration confirmation. I tried both just now and they both work, they're normal calendar invitations that send users to the services of either Yahoo or Outlook (there are other options as well). I hope you can get the right invitation in your calendar! Have a great day
Afraid the error you're seeing is from Yahoo, not Booking.com. If Safari doesn't support Yahoo Calendar integrations it might be worth trying out another browser (such as those suggested by Yahoo in your error message).
Appreciate you taking the time to reply @Steven Murphy . Just know that we will likely come back with a single AMA wrap-up with answers - and tag users as needed, rather than reply to each individual comment (this AMA is live in our other Communities as well).
Can I please ask you if you have any other restrictions set up?
For example:
- Have you set minimal or maximum occupancy on your two-night restrictions? I see you're simulating a search for 2 adults - but have you tried using only 1 adult?
- Is your 2 night minimum stay on Fridays/Saturdays non-refundable? Because guests searching for refundable rates won't see those days as bookable.
Hope I understand your question correctly - seems that your two available bedrooms are covered as a single listing? I'd suggest separating them clearly, so guests can book either one or the other.
Click on Rates & Availability and then click on Calendar
In the drop-down box, click on room or unit you want to open or close
Select the dates you want to open and close this room or unit for, either by dragging the two three-lined icons on the calendar itself or by entering the dates into the Start date and End date fields
Under Open or close for bookings, click on Open or Closed
Click on Save. The dates you selected will turn green on the calendar to confirm they are now open and bookable, or red to confirm they are now closed and not bookable.
Might also be worth considering that you set up your two bedrooms so they're distinct - even renaming them can help, so you always handle them separately. You can read how to do that in Changing a room or unit type.
Let me know if this is what you were looking for? Have a nice day!

I get it now, thanks!

Hi @Steven Murphy
Thanks for the additional details!
This is how I understand your current setup:
It's clear you're seeing something different.

Depending on whether you use the list-view or monthly-view calendar, the process is similar and simple
Hey Keti Getsadze
I replied to your comment on the same topic here:

You'll have to do that yourself - see How to add, open, close and delete rooms or units and in particular this if you're on a monthly-view calendar:

Experience comes with time Nikitas Delithanasis !
If you're just getting started I'd recommend focusing on finding your right mix in terms of:
- availability (when can you be booked, how soon/late, for how long)
- policies (how you handle cancellations, how you take payments)
- rates (your base price, any promotions you might be willing to give)
- reviews (how they work, where you can see them, why they're so important)
(I recommend blocking at least an hour to go through all of the above - it's worth it, believe me. Knowing these will help you a lot in the future!)
Meanwhile, this is a good place to ask questions and see from others what works (or what doesn't!)
Hope you have a great season ahead of you!
