I know exactly how you feel. For the amount of money we are paying in commission we should at least get a decent customer service. It’s totally unprofessional.
No, unfortunately Booking.com just sent me same messages that they do not/did not collect the city tax and when I again pointed out that this is what they told the client, they ignored me and stopped replying. An exercise in futility :(
No, you're wrong. The guest has already been charged this total (he also checked his bank account), which clearly states that he has been charged the city tax. If you read my post again you will also see that Booking.com wrote to him confirming that he already paid the city tax and will not have to do so at the property.
Hi, yes, if you look at the last screenshot above you will see that it is set up correctly with the city tax clearly collected by the property, not Booking.com. Their reply to me also confirms it they are not supposed to collect it and yet they do.
