I love meeting people.....truly! This is why I love being a B & B host, it gives me the opportunity to meet different people from different cultures and walks of life.Since reaching my sixties, I wanted to keep active by doing what I love most.
Being well traveled has given me insight as to what might be the needs of most of our guests.......which are simple really. Comfort, cleanliness,wifi,value for money and to feel welcome.

Unfortunately, everything is programmed for the software to respond to certain activities and appears that there’s no one to respond by having a conversation first, prior to sending out warnings.
I really appreciate what Booking.com can do for our business - but when things like this happens, it let’s itself down.
It’s really unfortunate.....as well as frustrating when this type of thing happens.
As Barry says, post your comment....people can then see the truth of the matter and step away from it. People will see your reviews and see that this is a one off.
You are amazing and inspirational !! Your place looks really inviting and it's location amazing Elizel. You have a wonderful outlook on life and far richer than most people I know. You have a beautiful family too......just stay true to your self and keep following your dreams.
My dream was to own a Bed & Breakfast. I am now 68 years young, and love meeting people from all nationalities and walks of life - we bought our place two years ago and registered with Booking.com. Now I am living my dream and loving what I do. We are open and hospitable with our guests, while respecting their privacy - we just make sure everyone feels welcome. You can never please every one - but by staying true to my self and giving thanks, I get past it.

Hello Cassandra, what a beautiful part of the world you live at. I did not know where Watamu is....so I Googled and see that you are on the coast of Kenya. Your place is right on a stunning white sand beach, it so unspoilt...... reminds me of holiday batches here in NZ....which are sadly disappearing. Your property looks very geared up for fishing and beach activities, very practical. what an awesome spot...absolutely stunning coast.

Shwmae merch gymreig, Cymru a byth!!! I agree, Wales is very beautiful with an amazing coast line and beautiful mountains, rivers, lakes and woodland. Although I live in New Zealand, which is just outstanding in its own right......Wales will always be very special....even when it snows ; )

We charge per room as well - it keeps things stress free - it definately works for us....
