My wife and I are active in running our Bed and Breakfast at our home and its a home away from home. We welcome our guests to a great experienceWe are active on numerous International boards and involved in substantial humanitarian work
Fantastic choice.
I think the level of breakfast choices is an important option. If are marketing your rooms as more on the inexpensive side, I assume a continental breakfast suits the budget conscious. If you are charging alot I think the extra touches makes sense.
We have not had anyone ask for any items that are restricted to their diet.
On the other hand you have lots of other considerations , Vegan, Vegetarian, Halal and Kosher.
In my wife's family we have Seven Day Adventist- No pork products. She also has Hindu and its strict vegetarian.
Since she is from Jamaica we can make Ackees and Salt cod, fried plantain etc which is a cultural experience. This I would do with lots of communication in advance. We made for a US black guests and one was from Jamaica but the rest couldn't eat the Ackees and Saltcod and it was expensive and waste

Hi
The guests were tidy but the staining of various items in the room and bathoom caused damage and just a warning if a guest stays at a location and they inform you that they will be active in a `jump up``, parade event you need to beware to double check your property before they go. They were gone before we had a chance to inspect the full extent of the damage. This event operates every August and many people scramble for a location. I just came back from Trinidad and its also a possible event but before Advent. In Canada due to the cold in February they forestall the celebration till its hot.
Again be aware, ask questions and be prepared, thats all.
I agree we have reached out via the booking portal to make sure ahead of time that the room they requested doesn't accomodate three people Its interesting we were called a few weeks ago via them finding us via Google Maps. The booking link wasn't evident and our address and phone number was available. I clearly stated that three people requires the booking of the large room. Subsequent communication on this is ignore. Same people asking for an early checked and a 3 pm checkout . Vast majority are very cooperative. We will see what they are in person.
