Hi, I'm Mike and with my wife Caral we manage our modern yurt "Sea Nest". It is located in Long Beach on the south coast of NSW Australia. We are very lucky that our property is located close to our beautiful coast and even though it is in suburbia it is very private. Our guests can enjoy all the beauty and tranquillity of the bush with nature at your door. We are both in our 50's and enjoy travelling and look forward to seeing different things and experiencing other cultures.
Cheers Mike

Hi Thomas,

If we were driving that way we would surely look you up, however we are flying into Milan and training it to Venice, then back to Milan - Paris then the UK to pick up a cruise.

Cheers Mike

Hi Leandri;

Yes it would be good. I think it is up to us owners to also promote our own accommodation and if it means giving away or swapping a few nights to get some honest reviews I think that is a good business decision. Also I would learn from others experiences and maybe see things that I may want to implement in my yurt.

Cheers

Hi Roman;

Thanks for the tip, they look really good and have heaps to pick from however, with our poor exchange rate they are a little expensive for just the two of us.

Cheers

Hi All; Firstly when you want to block out your room from being booked ensure that you click on the right room the right date and make sure you have a 0 in the availability box and it turns red. If it is not 0 your room is still available.

Secondly;- When you are overbooked or need to cancel a guest booking.com put the onus on you to find the guest alternate accommodation and if the new accommodation is more expensive than yours you could be up for the difference. beware double bookings. I advise to get to know the other accommodation providers in your area so if this happens to you or them you have your own little network to sort it out.

Hope this helps

Mike
