Parenthesescabins

Parentheses Cabins are located in Copacabana, Bolivia, a small city on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Our first cabin (we're in the process of building more) is made of adobe, using traditional building materials but with modern-day comforts on the inside. We even have a loft with a grownup slide!
My background is as a writer and filmmaker. I was born in the United States and have lived in Latin America for a third of my life. I also hold Bolivian citizenship.

Ironcially, when I do a search for highest ranked properties, we don't come up until way down in the list because I think it's weighted for sales volume as well. We have the highest ranking but don't come up first. I think volume improve your order in the search ranking but since we're always at the bottom of the list, I'm having a hard time improving volume. Aaaaargggh!!

We are a rental property with just one cabin, one of the reasons we don't have tons of turnover (we only have one place to rent out -- though it is about 80 percent occupied). We're working on building more cabins this year and next. Hopefully that will help. Changing our category from "country home" to hotel might help too, once we get more cabins built on the property.

Thanks for the moral support!

Ironically, we don't qualify because our sales aren't high enough. I feel like I'm in a Catch 22.

The descriptions that Booking writes are horrible (often have grammar mistakes) and inaccurate. Plus, they tend to highlight things that no one cares about. Part of being able to market a property is being able to highlight what makes it unique. I don't understand why Booking doesn't get this and makes every description generic. Part of it is the need to be able to translate into other languages, but still!
