Booking.com has announced a new partnership with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to become the Official Travel Partner of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in 2021.
Organized by the EBU, Eurovision is an annual song contest held each May. This year, the shows will run from May 18 to 22 and will welcome fans—either in-person or from the comfort of home—to the vibrant city of Rotterdam, located in Booking.com’s home country, The Netherlands. One of the largest, most-popular television events in the world, the contest will broadcast to 41 countries in 2021.
The partnership aligns closely with Booking.com’s mission to make it easier for everyone to experience the world, and provides an opportunity to inspire and remind global travelers that there’s a world of amazing and diverse experiences waiting to be rediscovered, once it’s safe to do so.
As part of the partnership, Booking.com is committed to helping Eurovision fans everywhere make the most of their music-inspired travels. Whether that’s a bucket list trip to one of Eurovision’s legendary live shows or to experience the country, culture, and traditions of one of their favorite performers as travel starts to open up again, the company aims to help people discover new places and broaden their horizons.
