New partner series: what to do before your guest arrives

Hi everyone,

As a host, there are many opportunities you can leverage to offer your guests a great experience at your property. In particular, making your guests feel welcomed before they even arrive can make a big difference. Luckily we have a framework with things to do before your guests’ arrival which you can use.

     1. Reach out before their stay

Demonstrate how approachable you are and reassure your guests by sending them messages via your Inbox tab in the Extranet before their stay. These messages could contain information such as check-in times, directions and parking facilities.

     2. Use the key collection feature

If you won’t be present to give the keys yourself, you can give clarity to your guests around how to collect their keys by using our key collection feature and securely sharing this information with them under the Property tab in the Extranet.

     3. Facilitate guest requests where possible

Be solution-oriented and show flexibility to your guests by considering both your policies and their needs.

     4. Prepare your property

Check if your rooms are ready and — where possible — go the extra mile with added touches such as fresh flowers. 

With this four-step framework, I’m sure that you’ll offer your guests great experiences.
