Booking.com Handling Payment

Hi There, 


I have had my new listing up for about 10 days now.   The system is saying that its not accepting pre-payment... I assume that means Booking.com wont accept the payment online on my behalf?  

Unclear why this and/or if theres a way to solve it.   We aren't onsite so are not in a position to accept payment on site.  

Does Booking.com not handle payment for hosts?   If I could get some support here as to whether and how to have Booking.com handle payment online when guests book.
