Booking.com pays

"Booking.com pays

You’re getting a reduced rate because Booking.com is paying part of the price."

Does someone know if this reduction is really pay to the host by booking or if booking reduce it from his payment to him?

If the price is €100, host get normally from Booking €100-15%= 85

If reduction of €10:

1)Booking realy pay it so client pay €90 and host receive €85

2)Booking don't realy pay: client pay €90 and host receive €90-15%=€76.50

Whitch one is correct?

I wish Booking was a bit less terrible.

After 4 tries and 4 sets of useless answers I managed to get this from their support:

"In reference to your request the commission 15% is take it from the calendar price, and also you have to take into account the commission of the bank transfer 1.1%.

Related to the booking offer, it's offer to the Gs, you can check this from the reservation tab, where you can find the details of the book with price per day and also if exist extra fees or city tax you will be able to check it in the same tab."

As for what does it mean? Who knows.
