Discount an already made booking (before check-in)

Hi,

I have a guests coming 20 August. Due to renovation work going on next door I contacted the guests and agreed on a discounted price for their stay if they still wanted to stay. How can I change the booking to reflect the new price? Do I still need to pay commission on the original amount?
