guest payments

 I just had my first Booking.com guests. They gave me their credit card to process the payment. I use a channel manager. Was I supposed to take payment from them, or does Booking.com. I looked through the help articles, but didn't see exactly what I needed. I'm looking for a step by step "what to do" for my reservations.
