I am new here on booking and finding it a very difficult thing to use (unlike airbnb)

I am new on booking.com, with my first listing live and want to delete the non refundable (discounted) price option - but i am unable to do so as it is most user UNfriendly! I also want to be able to manage my listing with ease - is this possible? Also I can't use my calendar - it will only go up to the end of June - please I need help asap, before someone else books at a very low price!

Hi Yvonne Williams, welcome!

If you go into the Rates and Availability Tab, click on "Rate Plans" and you will see your Standard and Non-Refundable rate plans. There is a small arrow shape next to the name which if you click, it will display the policies, bookable period, room categories etc... that apply to each rate plan. It will also display an "Edit" button (in case you want to change the discount for non-refundable rates) or the "Delete" button to remove it from your rate plan list.

If I could make a suggestion, do not delete the non-refundable rates as it gives you a guarantee on the bookings, instead, I recommend to decrease the percentage discount to 8 or 5%, so that it is still enticing to the guest to book and pay for it, but also optimizes your average daily rate.

In case you delete the rate plan and you wish to reinstate or create again the non-refundable rates, you can use the link offered by Didem that guides you on how to set it up.

Regarding the calendar, the system by default gives you a month from today display, however, you can modify the period you wish to see by clicking on the date period (example: June 21st - July 20th, 2022 on your left hand side) and a calendar will pop up and you can choose the start and end date you wish to see.

Hope this helps!

Ailyn
