VAT Registration Number
Hello everyone!
I received a message on my email, from Booking, asking me to fill in the extranet finance info the VAT Registration Number until 30th of august 2021 but I don't have one so what shall I do? I do not own a company and I'm paying my taxes as individual.

Am primit un mesaj pe email, de la Booking Olanda, solicitandu-mi sa introduc Numarul de Inregistrare Fiscala sau TVA, pana pe 30 august 2021, dar nu am asa ceva pentru ca nu am o firma ci platesc taxele la ANAF, pe persoana fizica. Ce pot sa fac?

Hallo, I have same situation. in Extranet no option "NO VAT"
I'm same not have VAT, by rules of country I not need it. Same like Violeta not understand that to do.
may be some body explain and provide instructions?

Same here, private person renting out the house that I also use myself. No VAT registration as a private person but also the renting out of your house does not require VAT in The Netherlands as far as I know. Think that Booking.com has made a mistake by asking every owner to register for VAT!

Same in Romania.
I'm in the same situation and I was advised by them in a support phone call to send a proof of my fiscal status to customer.service@booking.com. I have sent a copy of my registration paper (CUI). Try the same, maybe they will consider to change their interface.
Sunt in aceeasi situatie si am fost consiliata de ei in cadrul unei conversatii cu departamentul lor de suport sa trimit o dovada a statusului meu fiscal la customer.service@booking.com. Le-am trimis o copie dupa certificatul de inregistrare (CUI). Incercati acelasi lucru, poate se gandesc sa schimbe acea interfata.
Hi as an Eu citizen, you dont need a VAt Number unless you qualify for one, its the same in Ireland. But typically you can just put the Country Code 2 Letters followed by your social number and letter, instead.
I'm pretty sure at one point the vat page had the option for No, I do not have nor need a VAT number. It seems this has been removed.
Just send a message via the Extranet instead stating this and they should mark it as not required.

Same issue - they never seem to think about the little guy...
