Getting property map coordinates from Google Maps
We ask for your property’s map coordinates so your location is displayed correctly on Booking.com. This also affects distances to local landmarks and places of interest, so it’s important that you enter accurate coordinates for your property.
To get your property’s coordinates, follow these steps:
If you’re on a laptop or desktop:
- Open Google Maps
- Find your property’s location and right-click it
- Select “What's here?”
- At the bottom, you’ll see the coordinates of the location that you right-clicked
If you’re using an Android device:
- Open the Google Maps app
- Zoom in on your property’s location
- Tap your property’s location and hold your finger until a red pin appears. It has to be a point on the map where there isn’t another label.
- You’ll see the coordinates in the search box at the top of the map
If you’re using an iPhone or iPad:
- Open the Google Maps app
- Zoom in on your property’s location

If you're using Google Maps in Lite mode (i.e. on a mobile browser), you’ll see a lightning bolt at the bottom but won't be able to get the coordinates of a place.
