How can I stop receiving bookings for certain dates using Pulse?

If you don’t want to receive bookings for specific dates, you can close a room with a few taps on Pulse. Just open the app on your iOS or Android device and follow the steps below.

Note: The new calendar will be available on the Pulse app in September 2020. Some partners have already been migrated, and the rest will be soon. Below you’ll find instructions for updating your availability for both the old and new versions.

To close a room for an individual date:

  1. Tap the Availability tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select the date you want to update.
  3. Scroll down to the room category you want to update.
  4. Tap to make the room category “Open” or “Closed” in the room status section.
  5. Your changes save automatically.

To close a room for multiple dates:

  1. Tap the Availability tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap Edit multiple dates under the calendar.
  3. Select the date range you want to update.
  4. Tap Open or close rooms to save the changes.
  5. Select the room type you want to update (or choose a property first if you have multiple properties in the same account).
  6. Tap either Open or Close in the room status section according to what you want to do.
  7. Tap Save or the checkmark icon in the top-right corner for Android devices.
  8. Your changes save automatically when the green checkmark icon appears.

To close a room for a single date:

  1. Open the Pulse app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Go to the Availability tab.
  3. If you have one room type, go straight to step 6.

    If you have multiple room types, go to step 5.

    If you have multiple properties, go to the next step.

  4. Tap the property you’d like to manage.
  5. If you’re viewing the dates in a calendar, first choose the room type you’d like to manage by tapping its calendar. 

    If you’re viewing the dates in a list organized by date, scroll down to the date you want to edit, then tap the room type you’d like to update.

  6. Tap the date you’d like to update.
  7. Scroll down to see your room status.
  8. Tap either Open or Close in the room status section according to what you want to do. 
  9. When you’re done:

    if you’re using iOS, tap the Save button at the bottom of the screen to save changes. If you don’t want to apply the changes, press Reset.

    If you’re using Android, tap the checkmark in the top-right corner of the screen to save changes. If you don’t want to apply the changes, tap the arrow in the top-left corner of the screen, then Discard.


To close a room for multiple dates:

  1. Open the Pulse app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Go to the Availability tab.
  3. If you have one room type, go straight to step 6.

    If you have multiple room types, go straight to step 5.

    If you have multiple properties, go to the next step.

  4. Tap the property you’d like to manage.
  5. If you’re viewing the dates in a calendar, first choose the room type you’d like to manage by tapping its calendar.

    If you’re viewing the dates in a list organized by date, scroll down to the date you want to edit, then tap the room type you’d like to update.

  6. Tap Edit multiple dates.
  7. Select the date range you want to apply changes to.
  8. Tap Open or close rooms.
  9. Tap either Open or Close in the room status section according to what you want to do.  
  10. When you’re done:

    if you’re using iOS, tap the Save button at the bottom of the screen, or press Reset if you don’t want to apply the changes.

    If you’re using Android, tap the checkmark in the top-right corner of the screen to save changes. If you don’t want to apply the changes, tap the arrow in the top-left corner of the screen, then Discard, or tap the round Reset arrow in the top-right corner (next to the checkmark).
