How can I update my rates using the Pulse app?

This article will show you how to easily update your rate plans and prices on Pulse for single or multiple dates.

Note: The new calendar will be available on the Pulse app in September 2020. Some partners have already been migrated, and the rest will be soon. Below you’ll find instructions for updating your availability for both the old and new versions.

You can update your rates for single or multiple dates on Pulse. See the steps below for iOS and Android versions of the app.

iOS

To make a single change for a specific date:

  1. Go to the Availability tab and select which date you’d like to update.
  2. Scroll down to see all your room types.
  3. Find the room type you want to update and tap on it.
  4. The page that appears will show you a calendar and your rate plans for that specific room.
  5. Find the rate plans you want to modify and tap the gray field. Adjust the price accordingly.
  6. When you’re done, tap the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
  7. A green checkmark will appear to confirm that the process is complete.

To make changes for multiple dates:

  1. Go to the Availability tab and tap Edit multiple dates under the calendar.
  2. Select the date range you want to update and tap Rates and restrictions.
  3. Select the property you want to modify the rates for (if you have multiple properties).
  4. Select the room category and scroll down to see all your rate plans.
  5. Find the rate plans you want to modify and tap the gray field. Adjust the price accordingly.
  6. When you’re done, tap the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
  7. A green checkmark will appear to confirm that the process is complete.

Android

To make a single change for a specific date:

  1. Tap the Calendar icon and select which date you’d like to update.
  2. Scroll down to see all your room categories.
  3. Find the room you want to update and tap Rates and restrictions.
  4. The page that appears will show you a calendar and your rate plans for that specific room.
  5. Find the rate plans you want to modify and tap the currency field. Adjust the price accordingly.
  6. When you’re done, tap the checkmark button at the top of the screen.
  7. A green checkmark will appear to confirm that the process is complete.

To make changes for multiple dates:

  1. Tap the Calendar icon.
  2. Tap Edit multiple dates under the calendar.
  3. Select the date range you want to update and tap Rates and restrictions.
  4. Select the property you want to modify the rates for (if you have multiple properties).
  5. Find the rate plans you want to modify and tap the currency field. Adjust the price accordingly.
  6. When you’re done, tap the checkmark button at the top of the screen.
  7. A green checkmark will appear to confirm that the process is complete.

New calendar

For a single date:

  1. Open the Pulse app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Go to the Availability tab.
  3. If you have one room type, go straight to step 6.

    If you have multiple room types, go to step 5.

    If you have multiple properties, go to the next step.

  4. Tap the property you’d like to update.
  5. If you’re viewing the dates in a calendar, first choose the room type you’d like to manage by tapping its calendar.

    If you’re viewing the dates in a list organized by date, scroll down to the date you want to edit, then tap the room type you’d like to update.

  6. Tap the date you’d like to update.
  7. Scroll down to see all your rate plans and prices.
  8. If you’d like to open or close a rate plan, tap the check-box next to it. If the check-box isn’t checked, your rate plan isn’t active. If the check-box is checked, your rate is active.
  9. If you’d like to change the price, tap the input field in the price section and enter the price you want to set. 
  10. When you’re done:

    if you’re using iOS, tap the Save button at the bottom of the screen to save changes. If you don’t want to apply the changes, press Reset.

    If you’re using Android, tap the checkmark in the top-right corner of the screen to save changes. If you don’t want to apply the changes, tap the arrow in the top-left corner of the screen, then Discard.


For multiple dates:

  1. Open the Pulse app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Go to the Availability tab.
  3. If you have one room type, go straight to step 6.

    If you have multiple room types, go straight to step 5.

    If you have multiple properties, go to the next step.

  4. Tap the property you’d like to update.
  5. If you’re viewing the dates in a calendar, first choose the room type you’d like to manage by tapping its calendar.

    If you’re viewing the dates in a list organized by date, scroll down to the date you want to edit, then tap the room type you’d like to update.

  6. Tap Edit multiple dates.
  7. Select the date range you want to make changes to.
  8. Tap Rates and restrictions.
  9. If you’d like to open or close a rate plan, tap the check-box next to it. If the check-box isn’t checked, your rate isn’t active. If the check-box is checked, your rate is active.
  10. If you’d like to change the price, tap the input field in the price section and enter the price you want to set. 
  11. When you’re done:

    if you’re using iOS, tap the Save button at the bottom of the screen, or press Reset if you don’t want to apply the changes.

    If you’re using Android, tap the checkmark in the top-right corner of the screen to save changes. If you don’t want to apply the changes, tap the arrow in the top-left corner of the screen, then Discard, or tap the round Reset arrow in the top-right corner (next to the checkmark).
