Value adds allow customers to purchase extra services like parking, transportation, or spa treatments when booking accommodations. Setting up value adds helps you create attractive, tailored packages for travelers and promote your property without offering additional discounts.

Creating value adds

You can create and attach up to five value adds per rate plan. Here’s how:

  1. Sign in to the Extranet
  2. Click Rates & Availability, then Value adds 
  3. Click Create new value add on the Value adds page 
  4. Choose up to five value adds 
  5. Enter a name for your value add 
  6. Click Done

Once your value adds are created, you can attach them to new or existing rate plans to make them visible to travelers. You can also adjust the availability of the rate plan as needed.


Attaching value adds to new rate plans

Here's how to attach value adds to new rate plans:

  1. Click Rates & Availability, then Rate plans 
  2. Click Add new rate plan
  3. Choose the type of rate plan you want to add and click Add rate plan 
  4. Go where it asks, Want to include value adds in this rate plan?
  5. Click Yes and select the relevant value adds
  6. Set up the details of your rate plan 
  7. Click Review at the bottom of the page
  8. Click Activate rate plan 

Your value add will then be visible to travelers. You can adjust the availability of the rate plan as you see fit. 


Attaching value adds to existing rate plans

Here's how to attach value adds to existing rate plans: 

  1. Click Rates & Availability, then Rate plans
  2. Select the relevant rate plan under Rate plan name and click Edit
  3. Find the Value adds section and click Edit
  4. Select your created value add 
  5. Click Save
  6. Click Apply changes

Your value add will then be visible to travelers. You can adjust the availability of the rate plan as you see fit. 


Deleting or editing rate plans

The option to edit or delete value adds will be available soon. In the meantime, here's how to edit or remove rate plans.


Mapping value adds for connected partners

To map your newly created value adds in your PMS or channel manager, follow these steps:

  1. Create your value adds. 
  2. Attach them to an existing or new rate plan.
  3. At the provider level, ensure the rate plan is linked to the partner rate with the corresponding value adds.
