Adding or editing rates for rooms and units

For guests to see your available rooms or units on our platform, it’s important to load a rate for each one. How you do this depends on the kind of calendar view you use on the Extranet.


How to add or edit rates for rooms and units using the list view calendar

If you use the list view calendar, here’s how to add or edit rates for rooms and units:

  1. Log in to the Extranet.
  2. Click Rates & Availability, then Calendar.
  3. Find the room or unit type and the Rate Plan you want to add or edit a rate for.
  4. Hover over the bottom of the cell for the date you want to add or edit a rate for, then click the white box that appears or drag the two three-lined icons to select multiple dates.
  5. If you’re adding or editing a rate for a single date, enter a rate into the white box or edit the rate that’s already displayed, then press the enter key on your keyboard. If you’re adding or editing a rate for multiple dates, enter a rate in the Price field or edit the rate that’s already shown, then click Save.
  6. Repeat these steps for each room or unit type, Rate Plan, and date you want to add or edit a rate for.

You can also use bulk editing to quickly add or edit rates for a room or unit. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Log in to the Extranet
  2. Click Rates & Availability, then Calendar
  3. Click Bulk edit next to the room or unit type you want to add or edit a rate for
  4. Enter the dates you want to add or edit a rate for
  5. Click Prices and select the Rate Plan you want to add or edit a rate for
  6. Enter a rate into the white box or edit the rate that’s already shown
  7. Click Save changes, then X to leave the Bulk edit screen

How to add or edit rates for rooms and units using the monthly view calendar

If you use the monthly view calendar, here’s how to add or edit rates for rooms and units:

  1. Log in to the Extranet.
  2. Click Rates & Availability, then Calendar.
  3. In the drop-down box, click the room or unit type you want to add or edit a rate for.
  4. Select the dates you want to add or edit a rate for, either by dragging the two three-lined icons on the calendar itself or by entering the dates into the Start date and End date. If you don’t want to choose an end date, click Advanced date selection, then tick the box beside No end date.
  5. Under Rates, select the Rate Plan you want to add or edit a rate for and enter a rate into the white box or edit the rate that’s already shown. 
  6. Click Save.
  7. Repeat these steps for each room or unit type, Rate Plan, and date you want to add or edit a rate for.
