Setting up derived pricing
Updated 1 month ago | 2 min read
Derived pricing is an easy way to set rates for rooms with multiple occupancy options.
You simply create a standard rate for the base or maximum occupancy of a given room. The system will then automatically add or subtract a percentage price per person when the occupancy increases or decreases.
This way you’ll stay in control of your standard rate without having to manually update rates for other occupancies.
How do I set up derived pricing?
If you want your rates to change automatically according to the room occupancy, first you'll have activate a feature called derived pricing.
If you don't have this function, first our Accommodation Services team will have to adjust your Extranet settings. Reach out to them by calling your local support center number.
